We are so excited to welcome Beth Lanier to our staff. Beth is an independent Licensed Professional Counselor in West Virginia and is a supervised counselor in Ohio. She has been a Christian for 45 years and views counseling as a life calling.
Beth endeavors to present the spirit and truth of God’s word while applying counseling interventions when applicable and appropriate for clients. Beth also uses a range of psychotherapeutic treatments including cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and motivational interviewing.
It is her hope that by modeling a relationship with Christ, she can assist clients to develop greater maturity and wisdom for themselves which will extend to richer relationships with their families and others within their community.
Beth is aware that personal beliefs and values impact therapy, and she is committed to understanding how her counselees view the world as she serves them.
Beth received her M.A. in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2017.
One of Beth’s favorite verses is “Speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.”
Ephesians 4:15
