Layla Zickefoose is a licensed counselor in Virginia and Ohio. She earned her master\u2019s in Clinical Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. She enjoys\u00a0 whole-person treatment, believing that God created our physical, mental and spiritual selves to be intricately connected.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Layla earned a certification in nutrition and mental health in 2022 and also has specialized training in trauma care. Before moving to Ohio, Layla worked as a counselor in the Washington D.C. area, and volunteered to help those caught in human trafficking. Layla and her husband Dusty have two young kids.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Layla\u2019s specialties:<\/b> Anxiety, Learning Disabilities, ADHD, Trauma and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.<\/p>\n

Michael Sherr is Chair and Professor of Social Work at Cedarville University. He is an internationally recognized Christian scholar with over 25 years of practice and teaching experience. Michael enjoys using God\u2019s word\u00a0 as a tool in counseling and is specifically focused on biblical discipleship at Maranatha Family Counseling.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Michael\u00a0 is also a co-founder of the Association of Christians in Health & Human Services, an organization supporting health and human services providers who are committed to Jesus Christ.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Michael and his wife Stacey have been married for over 30 years and have 3 children.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Alan Gruber has formal training in biblical and clinical counseling before completing his master\u2019s in Clinical Social Work from The University of Cincinnati. He has a variety of experience ministering to others, particularly to those facing major life transitions.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Alan enjoys studying and reading in his free time. Alan and his wife Joan have two daughters and one grandson. Joan and one of his daughters are also social workers! Their other daughter provides foster care.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Beth is a leader for Bible Study Fellowship and really enjoys ministry to women. Beth also loves to travel and took an epic trip to Spain in 2023!\u00a0<\/p>\n

Diana Comiskey is a licensed counselor in Virginia and in Florida. She has been working with individuals and families for over a decade. She has experience serving youth in community mental health and in the school system.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Diana has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida International University\u00a0 and a master’s of Education in Family Counseling from The College of William and Mary. She and her husband live in Florida with their daughter.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Hannah Gaskins has a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Hawaii and a master’s degree from The Ohio State University. As someone involved in track and field in college, Hannah enjoys helping athletes strive for their goals while staying emotionally healthy.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In her free time, she likes to stay active in her community and church. She is also training to represent the United States\u2019 national bobsledding team!<\/p>\n

He has a specific desire to be involved in the soul care of others and to help men struggling with sexual sin.<\/p>\n

Dusty graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor’s in Criminal Justice in 2017. In his free time he enjoys woodworking and reading about theology and the bible.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Sarah Kittle\u00a0is a dietician who has a heart for mental health and wellness. She is particularly interested in working with people struggling with eating disorders, body image struggles and with athletes.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from Olivet Nazarene University and her master’s degree in Nutrition at Ball State University. She is licensed in Indiana and Kentucky. Sarah is a cross country and track athlete and still enjoys running. Sarah and her husband have two little girls.<\/p>\n
